Plot- My plant looks to have died, what do I do ?

I started 2 farming plots today and planted on one, I forgot to water it and now it looks like it's dead. can I recover it with water? I tried but I never learn how to water the plants. If not then what do I do? Thank you in advance for your thoughts :)

If you take the hoe, hold E On the plot. it will get rid of it. then just plant it again. To water it either Wait for rain, rain will water it automatically. Or take a bucket of FRESH water and hold E on the farm plot. If you use salt water it will kill the plant

Also, 1 "serving" of water in a bucket will refill the water on the plot up to max.
