Lashings are a pain

So. after the update Where baby palms got added and you don't just get lashings by whacking yucca. I noticed that there aren't as manny yucca trees. The baby palms are a source of them yes, but if you need lashings to build like a smoker and water distiller, You're outta luck. you either gotta go to a new island and get more or just wait untill some respawn. And I really noticed that there used to be like 3-4 yuccas per-island. but not anymore. you're REALLY lucky to get 1 yucca. my curren't home-base island DOSN'T HAVE ANY. So can you please add more yuccas?

Has anyone else noticed that sticks are more rare? after the past few updates I've noticed that there aren't as manny sticks. It's really annoying for the tutorial esp since you need to craft a knife, shelter, and campfire, That involves cutting down atleast 2 ficuses.

Once you have a few days in the game, lashing will become the resource you have the most of. As much as you are inclined to gather. Most small Islands have 2 Yucca, medium Islands have 1 to 4. You getting the odd Island with 1 is just bad luck.

Sticks on starter Island are supposed to be taken from Ficus but later in the game, you will start to see the stick problem creep in. Ficus don't respawn, small pine don't, Palm trees don't. If you are only gathering sticks that you find on the ground, yes you will run out pretty quick. You need to at least chop ficcus on small, baby pine on medium. Palm trees for bigger projects.

Okay, 1 you didn't answer or explain any of my questions, And no i'm more than "a few days in the game" i'm 32 days in and lashings are a huge pain. its just annoying having to harvest them, And no There is no such island in-game with 4 yuccas. I've explorered every island manny'a time and NEVER seen 4 yuccas with 1 island. And I wasn't talking about anything you said from the sticks. i was saying that sticks on the ground aren't that common anymore. and yeah i'm not stupid :P ik the pines/palms/ficus don't respawn.

The Island I am currently on has 4 .... I got dizzy running around it might even have 5 lol (V 0.23)

I just bought the game after the most recent update. I have a pile of lashings and don't find myself running out of them. I've visited all the islands to, at least, raid the shipwrecks looking for lanterns for my house. I harvest the baby palms and yuccas even when i don't readily need them on my home island. If you are looking to build a bunch of stuff without waiting for their respawns the only way to do it is to travel to other islands, farm them, and bring back the stuff to make more. It's not a big deal with my motorized 3x3 raft. It was first a sail raft but while scouring the islands I found the elusive Fuel Tank to complete my motor. I love this game! lol

Not to boast or anything but having regained my composure from drinking Fermo-Nut™© Juice and running in circles (normal day usually after dancing in the sun for 8 hours) it is actually 5.
