Underwater wrecks?? help??

so , im pretty new , i got 20 hours into the game . my problem is that i cant find/see any bubbles which should indicate underwater wrecks/planes , i went around and in between islands by day and night for about 5 in game day cycle s . i literally only do that all day and night , just look around for bubbles and dve in random spots with a torch , is this a bug or have underwater wreckes been removed?? help??

Since the latest update 0.19, I'm pretty sure there is less if not no underwater wrecks, in correlation with the minimal amount of wrecks on islands. Not sure if this is a known thing or if, because there are very few sand flats anymore and most of the water between islands is deep water now, the wrecks are just very very hard to find.

Hope a dev on this board can make a statement ;)

I have seen my first ,,bubbles'' on day 39 , they lead me to a plant ... still no wrecks , i have made no changes to my map ,i just clicked new game , hope some1 will clear this out

i have not seen any underwater ships that i can recall since the new update. i am working on a custom map where i have placed ships underwater. i checked in game and the bubbles were there. im not sure about the generated maps.

Yeah, so far, no underwater wrecks on random gen worlds

I also have noticed the lack of underwater wrecks or the lack of bubbles to idenitfy them while in open ocean. Bummer I hope they check the forums!

I have no trouble finding bubbles, just not off shore and the wrecks with bubbles usually don't have anything. I think they are in the ground and unless they give me a shovel for buried treasure I won't be doing anything with them.

Hey man , do u play on a ,,old save'' ? did you customize ur map somehow? i ask that cos mby the world generates diffrently now and somehow doesnt load wrecks or bubbles . idk

I started a new game since the latest patch and after I left the home island, I came across some of the sea forts. I left there thinking I was heading back to the home island but wound up at a different one. Just off shore, I spotted some bubbles, and swam to them. They lead to one of the "skeleton" wrecks but alas no tool box or items. I have yet to find bubbles leading to loot, but it is early in this new game, only 3 days in. Only two islands and the sea forts explored and probably not "fully explored" at that.

This is a major issue, in my opinion. This game doesn't play as well without the ability to find a significant amount of loot. So far, I've been to 11 islands on my map, and have only found a flashlight, two flare guns, and two engine parts. Without the underwater shipwrecks, finding important loot like all of the engine parts, air tanks, and the lantern seems impossible.

In agreement with everyone else here. I have however found all the parts needed for the motor and enough raft parts to make 3 connected. NYA, nya! Seriously though, no bubble markers to speak of.

I didn't found any underwater wrecks since last upgrade as well -_-
Not it's really easy to find basic stuff like water bucket (seriously, I have 17 lol) but boat engine or other stuff like cothes or machete: nope!
That was better before :/

From what i've seen, there arent any submerged wrecks anymore. The new islands are about half the size they were before and beyond the small amount of shallow water is a drop off that hides the end of the terrain. I dont think there is any terrain between the islands now. So, probably no shallow water wrecks, and no deep water wrecks anymore.

yup , thats exactly what i was thinking , that the deep water is just really really deep or is endless , weird , why dont the devs let people know when they make changes? or they do and im missing smthin?
