Aside from sharks they are pretty much the only danger at all ATM.
So outside a vege'eata'tarian mode overall, I doubt its in the works.
But hey! The Forest had a peaceful mode. Anything is possible.
But doubtful.
A few folks on this forum mentioned they are deathly afraid of snakes and snake images, so I suppose just making the snakes friendly won't work for everyone.
Which I never really understood why you would buy a game about surviving mutant cannibals then start a campaign to remove the mutants.
But eh.. I dont have to / didnt have to play that way. So no skin off my back.
I dont think it would be to hard to remove the snakes, I just dont think the team at Beam will be doing it officially with so much else going on.
Yes. As stated here prior.
Hardly 'a pain' and I reckon there should be more of them actually.....and on small islands too.
Currently you can be confident that you're safe once you knock off two of the hissing horrors but I'd like to see that be less predictable, so you're never really sure that you've got them all.
I'd like to see them inside grounded wrecks as a nasty but realistic surprise, and within palm fronds when chopping a bunch from a felled palm.
It would add some element of danger to exploring grounded wrecks like there is for underwater wrecks or at least add a little bit more apprehension and tension and surprise to it.
They add another element of danger and I consider them to be a 'necessary' part of the game imo.
Miss you Frank.
