Accelerated Time Too Much ?
Although i have a fair few hours into this game now (120+ days but not DiD) i can't help feeling the days/nights are too short.
Not sure exactly what the acceleration is but i would say it probably needs slowing by a factor of four.
Typical mission for me would be stock up my suppliies, water my farms and head off to an island, save (in a previously built shelter) and stalk the infuriating shark whereupon it's dark. Wait/sleep overnight then finish shark and wreck dive. Load up and.... save/sleep overnight {again} before returning 'home' to rescue my farms.
With days often being wasted to storms often i return 'home' before i can wreck dive.

Can we slow down the time acceleration please ?

Agreed. my first day is usually like: I spawn, loot the starting island, row to another big island with pine trees, I get there, loot it, (not including shipwrecks) and I chop down a palm tree. I make a few lashings, I make a fire, campfire, and fire spit, and then I make a shelter. that's usually my first day. I think it does go a little bit fast. :(

yea i agree too . chop a few trees and day is gone . they should definitely make the day night time longer

Agreed. Time moves far too fast. And yes, storms tend to ruin my day. Hunting sharks to make diving safe can only occur between 10am and 4pm due to water fog.

i dont think that time moves too fast, however i feel that storms are too frequent. though sleeping for longer then 4 hours might be better.

as always, hunt the devilfish day and night, make them rue the day they chose to be sharks.

1 in-game hour equals 1 realtime minute, so a speed 60 times faster seems fair to me when you think of how much you can do in the game compared to real life.
Basic survival doesn't really take much time in Stranded Deep compared to many other survival games.
I love the storms, but I have to agree that they are a bit too frequent and my biggest problem with them is they always occur in daytime and mostly in the middle of the day where you have the best daylight, it would be wonderful if you once in while woke up in the middle of a night because of a storm :)

Agreed.. I'd like to see time pass about half what it does currently. And yes, storms are too frequent..and screw up the short time you already have for good water visibility.
