But unlike islands, they will only appear once you approach them so look around.
Those 'empty' squares used to also occasionally have a Humpback Whale in them instead of a seafort.....they were great I hope they return at some point.
I reckon the raft capsizing seagulls and the piddling amount of loot at the seaforts make it not worth the visit to seaforts as they are at the moment.......if I do visit them I use a separate much smaller easily righted raft specifically for that purpose.

I used it to jump off and kill myself when I got bored with that game.
Did not know this, thanks for the knowledge. Very interesting, I came into the SD world post whales. These little touches would totally enhance the immersion.

This game is more and more frustrating.
