Whats the difference in game modes?

By this i mean under options their are survivor, normal and builder. I want to choose the hardest mode but unsure if survivor is easyier than normal or not. SInce it can be interputated as both harder and easyier depending on the veiw point. So i'm not sure what the devs made it.

dam was hopeing for a harder mode since surivior seems so easy. Thought for sure normal might be harder

Game modes have no impact to gameplay as of now. ;)

It was a simple question and that was a way rude answer. building could mean that there is more supplies for building and less actual danger or any number of things.
