Best way to kill sharks ?

I like to use arrows with bow; I think it is as good as speargun, and bows are easier to make.
Takes 10 to kill shark. Stand on the shore and get 'em as they go by on each pass.

Who kills a blacktip with a spear? just jump in the water with it and beat the heck out of it with an axe! :P

My favorite weapons are refined spears and refined axe, I can kill a tiger shark within minutes using one of these or in combination :)

Crude spears for me. Takes 10 for Tiger. Easy when standing on your "shark-hunting station". Can get 2 hits in each shark pass. Crude spears most economical weapon. Every few days I go on a round up of "missed" spears from the shallows. A bit like a golf driving range. Round them balls up (or in this case spears).

Bow and Arrow. Much more accurate for me, and you can carry 20 arrows in a stack.

Rotate it belly side up & bring it on to the shore & let the harsh sun kill it, cook it for you

I'm still trying to shoot one in the eye.......it's become a personal challenge for myself to hit the bullseye so to speak....hasn't happened yet.
I've gone pretty close but never hit the eye.....it's much harder than it looks.

I build a foundation at the very edge of the sand where it drops off and shoot it from that safe spot. SpearGun is best, then bow/arrows. There is no reason to build refined spears.

I agree that speargun arrows is the most accurate weapon, however refined spears does twice as much damage, so if you're good with spears, they are the fastest way to kill a shark.

Crude spears only require 1 stick, however refined spears require 1 leather, 1 stone tool and a crude spear which makes it the most expensive weapon in the game but also the most damaging. :)

Refined axe for when I'm feeling brave; refined spears otherwise. When going for a shark, you want the most powerful weapon available (refined spear, right?)! Not some flimsy crude spear or arrows that take 10 hits! And that's if you never miss!

The "only" bravest way to kill a shark is by fist, anything else is just an added advantage.

Anyone tried killing one with fishing spears? :3
I might give the stone tool a try too. Would be nice to see the new death cut off scene :P
