Known Issues and Workarounds
Hi I'll be updating this thread with known issues as and when any problems show up.

Please try updating both Windows and Direct X as this fixes some issues. Also please ensure that Windows Media Player is installed and fully up to date as this fixes some issues such as the game not starting.

1) To fix the slow motion effect some of you are experiencing please try the following:

Go to the nvidia control panel and switch graphics card to your alternate card. This should in theory resolve the issue.

2) In home Streaming. Currently there is a problem in home Streaming where when using the controller it continues to scroll in the main menu. We're currently looking into this but until then I'd suggest using mouse and keyboard if you're using in home streaming.

I'm going to be out for the next hour or so. But if there are any problems I'll look into it as soon as I get back home.

Small edit- Game seems to be running in slow motion. like half the speed it should be.

I just started the game and it seems when characters are talking their face gets bugged. It looks hideous.

Avast suspects Agarest2.exe file as malicious.

False Positives happen every so often, I'm afraid. I'm using Avast myself and am fairly happy with it, but then, I chose to create an exception for my Steam directory by default, so as to avoid slowdowns due to scanning and such false positives.

No resolution you choose in game gets rid of the blank bars at the top and bottom in fullscreen. http://puu.sh/g3ZYh/3ae7bf6270.jpg there is a pic of me in fullscreen at 1280x800 which gets rid of the black bars in all other games where that's an issue with my native resolution. But no other resolution works either.

Windows 7 64 bit
GTX 650

It is possible (i am not certain) that the fullscreen runs at 50Hz. I'm not sure how it works with Nvidia cards, but for AMD, Overscan settings need to be adjusted per resolution / refresh rate in the control panel. I suspect something similar might be at work there.

no the game runs at 60Hz in fullscreen, you can even increase the max. FPS by going into agarest2.ini

Those are supposed to be there in any non-16:9 resolution.

1600x900 doesn't work either.

What's the native resolution of your monitor?

1024x768, but that shouldn't matter if I'm changing the resolution successfully in game?

I tried changing my refresh rate from 75 to 60Hz to no effect. Also I didn't have this problem in the first Agarest game or Zero.

Yeah the cutscenes are definitely too slow.

Sometimes doing a chain attack with multiple characters causes the screen to create lines and flicker while the camera is shoved into the ground(if you're juggling something in the air) but finishing the combo takes it back to normal. Minor annoyance but still something.
