Won't work with controller

Have tried several controllers which work in Steam itself and in other games - I can select the controller type in Strange Brigade under 'options' but am not able to control the menu or gameplay. Am I missing something?

I have done that, it's been weeks and I have not yet received a response.

Yeah Im having the same issue. Im using steam big picture and my controller is liked via bluetooth. It says my controller is connected but yeah doesn't work. Not even a setting to switch between K&M and controller.

So I just messed with some settings. Where it says controller type you need to set it to steam. I use a ps4 controller so that's what I had it set too when it didn't work. Changed it to steam and then it worked. Hopefully that helps you.

Oh my word, thankyou so much, I have spent weeks trying every combination with my Xbox One X controller, connecting via Bluetooth, USB, the official wireless adapter (just in case it made a difference), steam input on, off, I however only tried Auto and Xbox for the in-game setting, switching to Steam and it just worked immediately, I can finally play!
