On the other hand, different people have different preferences, or can handle it better than I could. Regardless, it went to the trashcan.
Some sections might have try few times to do as can be harder then other parts.
Also I would do normal play through first to get upgrades for wepons out chests.
The upgraded wepons help alot more when solo like vampire regain health with shots.
Horde mode can be played solo as well.
But the game had lot more interesting enimies then most zombie horde games with few different ways kill some
And fir the steam discount price this game is well worth a go.
It's a hidden gem of a game
It's a cool game, I really enjoyed it. You can potentially get overrun but the magic spells/powers you get can clear big areas quickly and they don't take a long time to charge up. You also get unique weapons buy able from chests that are stupidly op. They don't need to be reloaded but they only have 1 large clip. Once empty you loose the weapon.
Playing solo will spawn less elite enemies, in MP each player gets one spawn and some of them like the charging bull is stupidly tanky. Regular enemies is mostly canon fodder to charge up your spell/power for elite enemies and if you can keep your kill streak up you can almost spam it.
You get more tools to deal with enemies but get it and try for yourself.
The "trick" (if there is one) is to mostly avoid the trash mobs during a boss encounter and just kill the boss. If you try to kill all the mobs, they will just respawn during some boss battles.
The gun play I would give as "OK." It's the same as Nazi Zombie Army (same developers). I personally don't like mandatory, uncontrollable spread, which these weapons have.
All-in-all it's a fun game though, but absolutely not worth full price like all the other niche games that Rebellion publishes and then charges triple-A price.
I see it's on sale. For $10, base game and DLC, I do think it's worth that.
