around 1-3 hrs campaign.
New Weapons are kind of OP (more Gem slots than the regular ones), they are useful for hard/extreme runs. So they can spoil the game for a new player (Money purpose is to buy weapons and they can't stand the DLC's ones).
New Characters are not OP as they have each 3 amulets powers from the Core Game's Characters. Their abilities are mainly the same too. It's almost cosmetic.
And can you tell me how long is the base/vanilla game? I have that version, wondering whether to add the DLCs too before I play.
You'll need between 45 min and 1h30 (some about 2h) to go through one map in solo without rush. It depends the difficulty you chose and if you like exploring all of it. There is 9 maps.
I made it in solo on extreme difficulty, I unlocked all kind of weapons and all amulet powers, collecting all sort of collectibles in something like 30h.
Like I said, new characters DLCs are almost cosmetic (they allow you to chose the couple of passives abilities you like the most). If you like one of them you can start the vanilla game with it. You don't need the 3 new maps DLCs and the Weapons DLC before you play through the vanilla game.
Thank you, really helpful!
Thank you, I only got the base game on sale, yes.
