Yes, I would wholeheartedly agree that this wouldn't be advisable. If the community had flourished, there'd probably be a dozen guides on how to do it online. Hardcore INI editing for games has kind of fallen out of favor and feasibility the last 10 years or so anyway. In the early-mid 2000's it was standard fair that even some simple options such as certain weapons keybinds would only be possible from the INI. Heck, we were INI editing to force the games to skip opening cut and splash screens to take you straight to the main menu.
