Possible Secret?!

Dear reader, please find a screenshot of a statue that I have located in the 2nd map (Campaign), I did find something similar to this at the beginning of the first map (Campaign) on the bridge - it had scarabs just like this but a different amount - Any idea what this could be? This might be common sense to someone else who has played more and longer, but I have not come it contact with this.

I took this photograph after I cleared the area. There was no more killable enemies. However, it did go from 1 to 2 after I destroyed every single explosive barrel/urn

I got three of these scarabs to light up. I also killed 3 of the blue parrots in the level, so I was wondering if it was perhaps that. I haven't replayed to test that theory out yet.

Interesting.... I remember have 3 golden scarabs light. Shooting parrots??? If you try again tell us. I shooted them too.

This scarabs are in all missions?? Where is the location exactly in each one?

the 1 on thew broken bridge lights up when you stand nere it and snipe the zombies below you

when its all lit you get a chest

There is another one in the start of the third map and I was scratching my head to solve it. It's a scarabs puzzle, you must kill enemies while you are near the scarabs, each enemy killed you unlock a scarab, complete all the totem and you unlock a secret.

I just find the scarabs in the 2n mission. But not the 1st or 3r level. Share screenshot the 3rd level LoboFH ;)

It's very easy, it's at the start of the map, where we unlock a spears gate with the energy beam, behind and to the right there is a platform with the scarabs and a hanging boat with a chest, from the platform look for six enemies below, it's tricky because they are far away. If you can't find them all restart the level and eventually you will find all of them.

We are speaking about scarabs puzzle appearing in the 2n mission "hidden Valley", not the 3rd mission or 1st.

That is correct, but as mentioned originally, these scarabs can be found on the other maps as well. It appears that they do have something in common, which is to stand close to this object with the scarabs and eliminate enemies to obtain the secret.

That being said, I have not confirmed this theory, once I have had a minute to jump in the game, I will confirm this and comment here.

Dear Reader.

Please find a quick video of the Scarab Challenge for Hidden Valley. As pointed out by LoboFH, it is at the start of the map.

As seen in my original topic/comment, there must be a scarab challenge in every single Campaign mission.

To light up all the scarabs, you have to be close to them and eliminate enemies.

You are correct, but I just wanted to let some people know that there is more of them and the way to fulfill the scarabs is to elimate, it appears that it does not need to be mummies, parrots did not work for me, however.
