Having Issues? Try these first!
Hey all,

If you're having issues with the game, such as crashes or strange specific bugs, please try the following first:

Verify Integrity of Game Files
1. From your Steam games library, right-click Strange Brigade
2. Select 'Properties'
3. On the window that appears, go to the 'Local Files' tab
4. Click 'Verify Integrity of Game File' This may take several minutes, and may also re-download any missing/damaged files
5. Run the game to check if issues persist

Check for Updates
- Check if your graphics and audio drivers are up to date
NVIDIA[www.nvidia.co.uk] | AMD [www.amd.com]
- Check if your version of Windows is the latest

Allowing the Game in Antivirus
There may be cases of antivirus software falsely flagging the game and preventing either launching or blocking some files. Updating your antivirus and its definitions will usually help.

If the issue persists, to prevent this you should allow the game in your antivirus software. This is different for each antivirus software, so is better to search for depending on what you use. Although Steam has a guide for some here

Check for Interfering Background Programs
Some programs in the background may be causing issues with the game. If any issues are occuring it may be best to temporarily disable some programs to see if they are conflicting.

When these issues occur it tends to be coming from programs with overlays, or programs that modify/tweak the input of controls etc, so it may be best to start with those first.

Send a Ticket to Support
If none of these solutions work, please send a ticket to https://rebellion.com/support with as much information as possible.

Information like the below is helpful:

- What were you doing leading up to the incident
- Your computer specs
- What happens when the error occurs
- What levels/characters/weapons were you using
- What are your game settings
- Any other information you feel may help

Do players need to issue a support ticket in regards to the DLC issue individually or do you prefer we wait until we have some update?

The more ticket submissions the better, as it helps us gather more information which may speed up finding the issue and creating a fix. Bugs, crashes and technical issues specific to the game are best.

Anything else which is more of a quick question, apreference, suggestion or a request is probably best on the forum as it brings more discussion to it, and can probably be quickly solved by ourselves or the community here for all to see.

my all updates are of latest and it all still persists , game launches and shuts down no error what so ever , any update is going to come up to patch these problems? , tried re-installing too doesnt work

.....for me don't even start the launcher! I wrote lot, no antivirus problem, not have conflicts with other programs, not have weak pc. I unistall and install again the game, I control file from steam etc.. now still nothing change, still not open! Another thing: for steam is like I not pre-order it, but I buyed 22 this game!

Well thats interesting. I dont have a AMD video card...
I downloaded and ran the amdcleanuputility.exe, which made no difference. So manually deleted the 11 amd*.dll files out of my system32 directory, and now the game is launching correctly. I have no idea what the game is doing trying to launch dlls that are not even registered in device manager.

I submit a ticket and I am waiting for reply.
I have confirmed and tried everything on your post. It is completely useless.
These solutions above are general troubleshooting that will help fix a few general issues people have. Since PC's have so many varying parts and software's, some issues are a lot more specific and will only happen for small numbers of users that you would only have picked up in QA if you had that exact same setup. I'm guessing your issue falls into this area.

Now that we have your ticket though we can look into solving the issue! Please be patient with the dev's. We're looking into all the issues raised and trying to fix them as soon as possible. :)

It should send a response with some information along with our work hours. Did you not get this? Might be worth checking your junk/spam folders. Or if you're using Gmail, checking the other tabs at the top.
