Infact, you described the most important problem, especially in Horde mode. If you enter in a lobby after some time it is started, all doors have been opened already and you can't take any amulet to power up your gun.
I would prefer an upgrade system like the one in call of duty zombies, where you pay money in order to power up your gun, such as 5000 money
I know it doesn't solve the co-op problem, but there's an easy way to farm gems in single-player. Some specific chests produce gems about 80% of the time.
For example, on the Hidden Valley map, the chest in the cave near Cat #5 almost always produces a gem. At that point in the game, you've just completed a big battle, so the "checkpoint" is right there. If the chest doesn't give you a gem, simply reload the checkpoint and you'll be at the cave again. Voila...all the gems you want!
There are a few caves in the area, so I've posted a screenshot of the exact location at: https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=1556652051
Anyone who rushes for treasure when they have no apparent need for it....
I think 10 minutes is a bit of an exaggeration. Unless there is some sorta exploit you can do.
Besides, I was refering to gems to socket in your weapons, not gold. If you never get to loot chests, you never get gems.
Just such a stupid system. The fact that the devs arent communicating doesnt help either
And the UI is not made for coop either. Health bars? Potions/Money shown? Map or mini map to plan and use as battle tactics together? Ping even?
I've played games just like this, in the 80s.
This is not co op when you fight over treasure
