Thinking of buying this game
I just wanted to know how much content does this game actually have? Is it generally repeating the same dungeons? If so, is the map always randomly generated to make it less repetitive? Or is it a very long storyline and many different maps?

Over 8 hours main campaign (9(?) maps, don't remember). A few more hours for finishing gathering loot. Then there are 3 DLCs. There are horde missions and time attack modes as well.

Maps are mostly static with some puzzle changes each play (icons needed will change, etc.). The puzzles aren't too difficult to figure out and find, which is part of the fun (might be ruined by looking at walkthroughs). There isn't a whole lot to "unlock" in this game (which is one of it's shortfalls imo). No cosmetic items, etc. You share guns across all characters so once you upgrade a few, there isn't much else to spend money on.

The game is fully playable solo, and does a decent job ramping up difficulty with more players. However you don't share loot in multiplayer, but then again there isn't much to unlock so it doesn't matter much. Which might explain why you only see a few people playing it at a time, as it becomes a "for funsies" after clearing.

The game itself is very stylistic, and I love it for that in itself. I hope they make a second one and improve on this. I waited for a sale as I didn't think it would be worth the full price. I'm glad I picked it up, and glad I didn't pay in full for it. Generally having a great experience with this game.

On sale 10.00 or less go for it.
It's kinda just a brainless shooter game with really really simple puzzles. Only buy it if you're looking for maybe a 4-5 hour experience, I got bored of it about 4 hours in since most enemies are braindead easy to avoid

If you are a fan of old school 30's action/adventure serials, Rebellion has absolutely nailed the aesthetic here. With a bonus addition of an amusingly retro kitsch narrator to provide some cheeky commentary along the way. It's a very entertaining game, imo. A mixture of gameplay elements from DOOM (2016) and Uncharted. You simply defeat a horde of zombies and random creatures, solve a simple puzzle, and move to the next section of the level. Do this until you confront a boss. Move on to the next level. Repeat.

A simple premise done exceedingly well. Fun to play solo, and it can be considered an excellent game as a solo experience. However, it is the best party game I've played in awhile. Really on another level when you share the fun with others. Unfortunately, it's more of a cult/niche game at the moment. Not many playing (at least on PS4). C'est la vie.
