Sniper Elite 4 Activation key error

I bought Sniper Elite 4 from 3rd-party site and I activated it on steam about week ago.
Now I can't play that game anymore, because steam support deleted that game from my game library due "failing of activation code registration, cause something went wrong with payment", that is what steam told me. What that even means, because I haven't bought it from steam. I still have that code on my steam account and selling site, but that game is not in my library.
