One more person encountering the Sniper Elite 4 game to crash when attempting to COOP

I am running the latest Nvidia driver which is 430.64 and have also tried both DX11 and DX12 but anytime I try to play COOP and enter the lobby the game will crash with the error indicated below.

I did submit this to Rebellion for support but sharing with anyone else that is experiencing the issue or was able to get past the crashing. In looking at older comments it appears that someone was able to get the game not to crash when they had driver 399.24 installed which that driver was released in September 2018, and somewhere between this driver and the current version either Rebellion or Nvidia dropped the ball.

In any case it sure would be nice if either Rebellion or Nvidia could simply test and resolve.

Why would you assume this is a Pirated game??????? I do not pirate and this was purchased on Steam along with all of the DLC content.

Three most crucial things:
In the settings found on the initial splash screen window, turn off DX12 (cryptically called 'D3D12').
Run in Borderless Windowed mode (selectable in-game, video settings).
In the in-game options, under "privacy settings" at the bottom, turn off the sending of information to Rebellion (causes occasional infrequent crashes).

Thank you, but even tried all of those and still encounter the crash.

Well for 1 you do not take advise = try to connect to a Dedicated server and see what happens , pirated will not .

On any of our 3 computers and a laptop we can launch the option to create a new game and in doing so that part works but when anyone tries to instead select the Browse Games then it will start to load and then the game will crash back to the desktop.

That means you bought the game 4 times or are sharing ? and no one else seems to have your problems and i would assume 4 computers running from the same house have the same IP address
Also if you host a game / Coop you could try inviting a friend if you set the game private, that way the friend / your wife would get a live hyper link via the steam chat messaging to join the game

Believe me I will take any advice but as I stated multiple times I cannot join any game instance when I select BROWSE GAME to join any other players games as it crashes. If there is another means of joining please let me know.

I have not yet tried setting up my own dedicated server but that will most likely be the next plan of attack but I am doubtful as I should be able to join other players dedicated server as well.

As far as your other comment my wife and I both own a copy of the game we purchased and being steam as it is we can install on multiple computers, however we are only trying from two instances or computers at a time.

If you have a friend who hosts a Coop game they can invite you to their game via the steam chat , the game set by a friend should be private / invite only for it to work, the invite gives you an option to click on the Live hyper link straight into their game , so no browse games option would be required.
Hosting a Multiplayer game is easy but to config a dedicated server is another thing , i have one pre configured and rent it , i do not want my PC running as a dedicated server, i control the server from my PC , you also need to have control of this as well

It is now clearer what your problem is , never heard of that , i would re install the game having first backed up the User Profile .
