I guess it doesn’t provide the straight-up “DENY” that francisjaen is looking for.

The article mentions that the game will come to Apple devices with Universal Purchase and Cloud Saving (via the App Store and Mac App Store).

However, that doesn’t necessarily exclude a Steam version. That said, this is essentially a different version of the game under the hood, designed specifically for Apple Silicon and Metal, with compatibility for iPhones and iPads, as well as Cloud Saving (likely via iCloud).

So while it’s not impossible, bringing this version to Steam may be more complicated than it seems.
