Getting co-op disconnects

About a week ago, me and my friend started experiencing connection issues during coop.

Where we get booted out and fail to connect. When i disconnect, steam cant connect online until I restart the computer.

it's been happening often now. I think maybe a recent steam update is causing issues. I updated steam on my laptop, it restarted steam, and it was stuck in infinite "Connecting".

Ive rolled back my graphics drivers too to see if that fixes the FPS, it did not.

did you try to verifie files? Go to game libary right click on Sniper elight propaties local files then click on virifie intagraty that should fix it for ya. 1st time should say files missin do it agin and it should be ok 2nd run

What happens if your friend hosts the game, the above will not help as it` a peer to peer connection

It says host has disconnected. after that, steam loses connection until i restart the computer.

Are you using a wireless connection if so i would buy an Ethernet cable , these cables are not expensive , then run the cable from your router to the PC , looks like the trouble is at your end ?
