Is Sniper Elite 4 worth getting for $40?

Right now it's on sale for $40 for the PC. I enjoyed the first three games but have avoided getting the fourth one at full price because I was afraid that, while a solid game, it would simply be more of the same with little-to-nothing to differentiate it from the other games. For those of you who have it, is it worth it?

Also, I can't afford any of the DLC right now so I'm wondering if I'm missing out by not getting any of the DLC?

worth it yes, and you have 8 massive missions to do plus side objectives, and 2 co op maps and the world of multiplay , all for $40, so id say yes

the DLC are great but , get the main game and if you get hooked then you know what you want next lol

Definitely worth having. This is a fun and complex Stealth Shooter with a surprising amount of depth and content.

As for the DLC, you're missing out on quite a few extra missions. Including one to kill Hitler himself. They also provide options for character customisation, and a swathe of new guns. Of which the M1 Garand, TT33 and ZH-29 are well worth having.

I would start with the base game and see how you like it. If it suits you well, consider buying the DLC. It tacks hours onto the length of the game, and those three weapons are well worth owning. The Garand is probably the best all-rounder for Survival, the ZH-29 is a superb DMR, and the TT33 is a ludicrously hot-loaded semi-automatic with the punch of a Revolver.

hmmm tough to tell for me. Sale price is almost worth its price but full price is no. It's a bit excessive I think. cuz its dlcs. Im talking about mission dlcs. you have to pay each of them like $9 more. The thing I dont like this game since SE3 is the lack of maps. It has 8 campaign missions. Plus 3 for dlc it gets 11. Each map has massive so it compensate its low variaty maps but that doenst justify its short campaign. What if you are a spreed runner so on cadet difficulty just run-n-gun every mission? You probably finish the game in 5 hours. You have to be ready to dig in every mission so make your money worth. In singleplayer wise so far. If you want multiplayer experience than singlepplayer, that's the different story. Cant tell about MP cuz I havent done it yet.

Yes it is worth it and yes it is still the same as the rest, missions are great but that is the sniper games you go around and kill people. They did a fantastic job on this game I like all the sniper games but this one is the best.
