How to End First Mission

How do you get over the rocks to the boat in the first mission? I get to the area marked on the map to escape the island in the first mission, but the mission won't end. How do I get it to end?

Isn't their more then one exit to the mission. I exited the mission via a dock in a bay type area but their was at least 2 exits on the map.

You don't go back the way you came. Are you playing Authentic? Auth doesn't show you where to go. Highly recommend "Sniper Elite (Hard)" mode on 1st playthrough, I think you can switch it on-the-fly. And you can disable aim assist (aiming diamond) in your personal options.

Wait, authentic mode doesn't show the extraction point and objective locations on the main map? How on earth would a player complete the mission then? That it's not on the minimap I can understand, but there needs some kind of marker system in the game.

You can create your own , run cadet level , open the map , take a screen shot and run the screen shot under the game , i use the game in Windowed mode so it is easy to shrink the game back to the task bar and look at the map,
others may play the maps and learn before going up to Authentic.
But you are right Authentic should have more or less the same map and i think you cannot exfiltrate until you have done every thing that is required .

id sugest to all players to run the maps at cadet or elite to start, then you know whats required and were you need to go, them pop it to A+ and run it that way as there are no radar or map, and unless you know the requirments , it will seem like you cannot end it

On the first mission San Celini Island there are 2 exfiltrtion points
