Gamepad Scoping not working

When I press LT the scope does not appear instantly. Does anybody know a fix for this? The only way I've been able to use the scope is by pressing the map button randomly while pressing LT, but that seems buggy. I was expecting to only press LT and have the scope.

Mine sort of jumps between shoulder sight then scope. I think if you hold it in it switches to scope

That happens sometimes when I hold, but most of the time it doesn't. It takes out the fun of the game.

So I was able to fix the problem. I'm using a PS4 controller with DS4Windows but the problem is also common in Xbox controllers. The fix is by turning off half trigger settings, and with the DS4Windows this is done by doing the following: Click "Edit Profile" > Go to "Sensitivy" Section and in "L2" adjust the sensitivity from 1.00 to 1.50. After this click "Save Profile". Your Scope should now work.
