Why I am detected every time ?
Hey I have played SE 1-2 -3 but I have never encountered the following problem. Can anyone please help me out and advice me if I am doing anything wrong in the game -

- Everytime when I shoot ( Regular ammo ) I got detected by the enemy or enemy got alert ( as their sign change into yellow )

- Should I use Suppressed ammo all time in the game ( if Yes ) then there is no meaning of taking regular ammo in my inventory .

- I know I have to change my position after shooting from my regular ammo but there should be a back ground sound like plane / generator etc. which compressed the regular ammo sound. Otherwise there is no meaning of having regular ammo ....

Please let me know if I am doing anything wrong >>>> I am playing now LVL 4

you can shoot enemeis from far and they wont know where you are.
in first chapter when you are on the tower, try shooting enemies in the different areas in front of you. dont shoot the car before the people get off of it and spread.

i think, 150m shot's they wont know where you are unless they see their body get's killed or discover the body.

also if you see one enemy close to you like 50m, but they rest are at 150m, you can shoot him without the group in the "other area" being alerted.

generators/planes are still in the game and they cover your shot's and you dont have to reallocate if you shot the isolated enemeis which the rest didnt find the body yet.

Ok thanks then I will try shooting enemy from 150 m far ... can you please tell me from where I can calculate the distance ? Is it the binocular which will help me about the distance of my enemy ???

Also, you can relocate after each shot so that they might be alerted (yellow) but not know where you are and attacking red (red). Repeated shots from same spot causes them to triangulate your position and then they go red. So if your shot is not masked and you go yellow, move to a different spot before firing again.

yes. you can tag them with bino' by left clicking on them and when you aim with your rifle you will also see distance.
in first map on tower you can even "see" the "areas" in the map where there are groups of enemies.
if you look froward there will be a close enemy then more forward where there are tents that's another area which they cant hear you if you shoot the closer enemy.

if you look to your sharp left while you are in tower, you will see another area that wont hear your regular shot's.

if you look to your left(not sharpest left) there is another area with the trap that you can shoot in a distance of 200m.

after a while, you wont be needing the bino' to know if you will trigger them or not, you will get the feeling of it.

about the rellocating.
i find it easy to think of that system as if you get a "Free Shot"
if no one suspect anything and you kill from far and they still can hear you meanning you didnt do it too close so they actually spot you, they become alerted.
you can run somewhere till your Ghost appears and repeat.

So I have to shot them from far...but the problem is there is someone nearby everytime in every MAP... and if I shot from far I think someone ( who is neadby ) will spot me ....dont know... I will try ..... lets see.

well ofc if someone is nearby he will spot you, doesnt matter if you shoot far if someone is right near you.

what you can do is play stealthy for that part or reach to a good sniping nest/area where you are elivated and have sound cover to mask your shot's. now you can pick them up one by one, even the close one's. just wait for them to spread before you do it so they wont find bodies or actually see the kill.

You can also use silent ammo, or the delisle rifle... I bought the season pass, so I don't know if that comes as a regular rifle or as DLC. It's a supressed rifle, but it does less damage, so shots usually need to be headshots withit or quick repeated body shots.

It makes the game too easy in my opinion though, but I like it when I try to be super sneaky and don't feel like taking a while to do it.

Feel free to contribute.
Yeah in 4 they pretty much removed the loud environment noises and went with generators that make noise after you smack them. You must wait until the generator noise starts. I don't like it because they have a very limited affected area, and often don't cover your desired sniping spot. What's more, often to get to said generator stealthy you must take out the exact targets that you desire to shoot with the noise cover first! Sure, it makes it harder, but it also takes away some of the silent-shooter gameplay.

And, if you play with "authentic attachments" on, including either authentic difficulty setting, they WILL hear EXACTLY where you are on the first shot even if you used suppressed ammo, if you are within about 50-100m. (don't know the exact distance). So in my opinion setting any "authentic" setting ruins the silent-shooter experience, and makes subsonic ammo useless, unfortunately.

But like they said, yellow doesn't mean much, just that they are looking around for you. Pay no attention to yellow, it's red that counts.

I am playing with hard difficulty and yesterday i have made the longest shoot ( 243 mt) as of now with my Winchester Model 1895 but i have decided to take Mosin-Nagant M91/30 after having 5 Token and finish the whole game and DLC with Mosin-Nagant M91/30 only...

What I have learnt about the shooting that we have to be far away ( more that 150 meter ) to not to be detected and if we shoot several times from same position then we will be detected for sure....So i have changed my game plan ... now I am shooting far away and change my position after every time ....

As a Sniper I cannot win a war like Call of Duty game plan ...LOL

Thanks mate ....

Take a bunch of shots. Hold your position and take out a whole squad if you can. Or move if you fear Fritz might sneak up on you. When you go to your new place, make sure you can see your old place and shoot anyone who doesn't die by the traps you left lol.

ofc, theres a time and place for everything. Playing stealth is good practice, for when you need to keep your head down.
What is Cooperation gameplay and I have found some new missions name ( with exclamation sign ) in SOLO mode ... What is that...

There are two basic modes of multiplayer: PvP and Co-op (cooperational). Co-op is player vs. AI enemies (bots). There are three types of co-op: campaign (the single-player campaign with two players max.), overwatch, and survival. All of the overwatch & survival maps are portions of the single-player maps. Overwatch has only two maps: railyard & compound, only two players max, one player can be the sniper lurking above (has his own enemies to deal with too), does not have a secondary weapon (exc. pistol), and the other is called the "operative" and does not have a rifle. The operative has mission objectives. It is hard to find a buddy to play overwatch or campaign with. The main co-op play is survival, up to 4 players per game playing as a team. It has six maps, also campaign & perhaps DLC maps, and they kill 12 waves of enemies which try to take control of the command post/control point (C.P.). It also involves reviving "bleeding out" buddies downed during the waves (assuming more than one player, with a single player the game ends if he goes down, or otherwise if all players go down). Since the AI is very good, it is a blast, it is hard on Authentic. There can be up to 4 players per game. The maps are very different and diverse.

I think missions with the exclamation point just means either that you haven't done these yet or they are DLC (i.e. they are new since the base game).
