The Ghillie is the way to go whenever playing on grassy environments, whatever the time. If paired with the proper camo rifle, it'll make you less visible, I'd say, by a 30% (just a rough number, I'm not into stats that much).
In the end, I'd say the Urban Warrior wins, because you'll find at least one cabin, house, or bunker on each map, whereas you won't find always grassy areas on them.
Hope it helped.
Cheers.
And, if I choose the Ghillie suit & stand in front of a building in a jungle environment it dosn't "camoflague" me, or make me "invisible" either, just because i'm in a jungle environment.
See the difference?..........you can't say that one is better than the other, & if you take one out of the environment for which it was designed, then it stands out like "dog's balls".
Both suits have advantages & disadvantages which need to be considered by the player before starting each map.
BTW: If i'm inside a house, cabin or bunker (as you suggested), then it dosn't matter what you're wearing, because as long as you're not sticking your head out of a window or doorway, then you can't be seen anyway! I don't know about you, but the first thing I do when I enter a building/house is shoot out the lights to make it dark inside. (Or throw rocks at them).
Once you do that, it dosn't matter if you're naked, the enemy isn't going to see you until you start shooting.
I think you are stating some quite obvious stuff, not to sound rude here. If you're a Ghillie or Urban Warrior, and don't think before choosing an ideal place to shoot, which, to my view, must not be one that breaks your camouflage, you're going to drop dead to the ground in no time.
I thought people would infere from what I said that they'd want to stay somehwere their camouflage works well, obviously not in front of a bush if you're playing with the Urban Warrior, or the Ghillie in front of a house.
Shooting at the lights is always a good idea, and even better if you do it just right after the match starts (I always do it with the Welrod, because it's inaudible at considerable distances, like those at the start of a match).
More interesting, I've seen some very odd choices of characters for Mutiplayer matches, like using those Arctic Commandos at maps with white-painted walls, and it seems it works well.
Cheers.
You want to standout fabulously so your target knows that it was you while a bullet passes through their brain.
