How to get to top of Bitanti sniper tower

When you first get to Bitanti, I found it pretty easy to clear out anyone remotely near the sniper. (On Win7, autoupdate/new SE4 install, 7/2/2019.)

You start in the south, and the sniper's tower is a bit northeast of there (check your map). I had not yet killed the sniper, since I assumed he'd be easy to assault from below. To my surprise, I found two things:

1) I could kill him very easily from the floor below, through the floorboards, with an SMG (no big surprise, except I learned you can easily fire through floorboards in ES4, unlike in some games). He will not make the least attempt to shoot at you.

2) There was no way in hell I could get to the upper deck where his body lay, despite the icon showing his Sniper Report being right there, and the clear square opening in the third level of the tower, right above the second level I was on. (You can't jump in SE4 ... what were the devs thinking?)

So I tried to jump and tried to go out the one open window and tried to run around the tower a ton of times. I googled on this and while many guides talk about sniping the sniper from afar (as though that's better than a stealth from below), I couldn't find any page saying HOW TO GET TO THE TOP FLOOR of Batinti's southeast sniper tower.

So in case it saves anyone else grief, here is how:

1) On the second floor of the tower, there is one open window. It's to the ESE (you're looking back at where you originally landed in Batinti).

2) Go out this window using Space (Hang) (on PC)

3) Here's what I missed: When viewing the building from the outside, now go LEFT along the little beam. Then climb up the chain.


I got hung up mentally wondering why I couldn't easily go through the obvious opening. Shouldn't have presumed a game is logical at all points, but that it is doable.

u need to go north and to follow west island in one of buildings is greta sniper rifle with silencer then from one of windows in same building u need to kill sniper on that tower... challange is called softley softley i think
