Just use 30 hours raising stats on the weapons you like, on a map you like, and you should get 20+ levels just from that and the shootingrange. save before every gain, ad redo it. Quite some grinding, and you pretty fast notice some weapons you'll never want anyway.
So I wouldn't risk it.
EDIT->Cadet level is almost immortal anyway :)
I never play anything that is timed. Combined with my general (extreme) lack of directions, even in RL it made 'Descent' the most horrifying game I ever played
(Even Rambo III on the C64 got maps, it actually were a lot better game then is sounds)
The only thing I 'want', is access to all weapons, so I can [X] that off from the achivement list
(one kill with every weapon) and for that I need the Enfield, that I actually don't really want, but it's the only weapon i don't have access to.
Sure I could do a speedrun on Cadet on the two missions, and probably will.
But the objectives on map 2.. only use rifle! Ehh there is a guy 2 meters away from me that I can/want to stab. At the same tine a kill every 2 minutes, sure, can be done but feels wrong to leave a random corpse somewhere, and get 2000 points with a shotgun at the same time?
(and run like a maniac to find the Greta)
It's not possible to do all objectives in one run, and I missed the 'freeride' in my Cadet run.
Nor did I have any idea where the 'Battle of the Waterfall' were, as I didn't care about the partisans, except that it were good that they made some noice, then died, so I could stay in character and personalr emotion of Karl.. totally uninterested, bland and dull.
I really like mods.
A lot of them are extremely fun, and that's what I'm looking for, fun.
I don't agree on anyone being banned for using such a tool in a singleplayer game, considering that I am not harming anyone... but anyway, thanks for the warnings.
Happy New Year to all of you guys
I just remembered reading about at least 2 that had gotten VAC banned in this one during single player.
I agree that modding is quite fun, and cheating in SP games (with only COOP), don't really hurt anyone as long as the cheat isn't setting everyone to lvl 1, and have Karls sing 'Daisy' with as much feeling and emotion (but less personality) as HAL3000, on repeat.
But this one have the odd addition of
When I get enough milage out of a SP game that don't have anything more to offer, or that have flawed levelscaling (I'm looking at you Bethesda). I'll start editing some entertainment for myself.
Shadow Warrior 2 were one such example, but I only played COOP with people I knew, and they knew I edited my loadout before even testing how much lag we had. Got 50 hours more out of it then I would if I've stopped when I were genuinly bored with it.
I wouldn't mind a 4 player COOP campain to be added/modded in, might be overkill, but if it's 4 people, who just as me got it on the X-mas sale, and running authentic, it would be hilarios.
