its all well and good to ignore a war that took half the world and lasted longer then the western front not to mention a massive wasted oppurtunity

Not sure about the “successful” part, but British presence in the pacific theater were .... not important as the US. Maybe they can create an OSS agent as new protagonist to offset that. Though I don’t think they will do it.

I can imagine a lot of hardcore jungle counter-sniping at enemies in Ghillie suits. Either it works or gets extremely annoying at the end. We shall see.

Yes, I know British spend two month retreat from Thailand all the way to Singapore and lose it alone with 80,000 POWs.

I would love to enjoy a sniper elite game in Southeast Asia or Pacific islands settings.
I’m just skeptical about the chance they do it.

European theatre has been done to death by nearly every WW2 game. Time for a breath of fresh air.

the enviroments wouldnt just be jungle m8. dessert mountains or jagged coral at peleliu. Iwo Jima

very strong chance im not buying the next game if it has Germans in it. enough is enough

im sick of WW2 games only represnting the second best axis country aka germany. Japan fought longer fought harder fought in far more varied enviroments anything you can think of from alpine snowy mountains in the aleutions to open plains of china to natural fortresses of peleliu

On the other hand, you will want some rather drastic changes other than simply slapping some Asian faces onto the enemies we already have now. Arguably this is already achievable should the devs allow modding.
