Weapon upgrades aren't working

I upgraded my Mosin yesterday and wanted to get a start on upgrading the springfield and gewher. For some reason the kills I am getting (distance, shoulder aimed, sound masked, etc) aren't registering in my service record and aren't counting towards the weapon upgrade challenges. Has anyone had this issue or knows anything about it?

Hold the gadget circle open (button q), go to your rifle and hold it on there and you see the challenges. About the sound mask, suppressor is not allowed, use the engine to sound mask your shots.

About distances, does it shows how far your targets must be? Like 10 kills but in range of 50m.
