Probably lighter and easier to carry than a Tommy Gun :)
You mean Tommy Gun the Thompson thats already in the game or that one with round drum magazine and wood foregrip used by Mafias?
Because the Jagers in this game make FG42 seem unwieldy compared to smgs in Karl's arsenal.

Yesterday finaly i got the FG42 right from the start ( you known, when you start a mission you find allways a weapon to change before you realy begin), and i was very happy, till...i noticed that it came with just 12 bullets and till now i could´nt find more ammo of this kind. I did´nt know that the FG42 uses another type of ammo than normal, none of the kraut soldiers have the kind ammo i need. That sucks!
