Playable offline?

Saw it had some sort of anti-cheat DRM and wanted to know if i could play it offline before buying, just to be safe. Online DRM making me paranoid these days about being able to do this.

Many games can't be played offline because of always on DRM that typically have anti-cheat software. These games are bad news for any gamer with poor internet, very limited data or even no internet at all. No need to belittle someone for a legitimate question

EDIT: I also felt the need to comment because I had the same question because when I tried to play offline, it's telling me to go online in order to play.

You will need to go online at first, and then occasionally, but you should be able to play offline most of the time (except multiplayer of course).

And thanks for the reply. I still have not been able to play offline. Could just be me not being able to figure it out. When I set steam offline, sniper 4 says to go online before being able to play =/

if you go to steam and shut it, then disable your internet, pull the cable or turn off wifi, then start sniper , you will see steam show a dialog saying play off line, and any achevments you do while off line will sync when you go online the next time, and play

Oh my god thank you. Turning off the internet did allow me to play offline lol. Weird. But oh well, it works!
