I don't know how to heal myself

How do I use the medkit so I may heal myself?

choose the Full Bandage with Q and press and hold F to restorre full life
or choose the smaller Bandage to only partly heal.

you can also choose in the radial menu the bandage and press left click on it to choose to stabalize your breath instead of healing.
