Hitler mission?
A small part of the reason why I bought this game is that Hitler was suppose to be a target in one of the missions. What mission is he a target in? I've missed it.

I've finished the game, and playing again to do some challenges. Is Hitler a target of opportunity? Is that a future DLC?

It's one of the DLC packs.

I find it a tad annoying that in all of the SE games I've played (SE 2, 3, Nazi Zombie Army 1, 2, 3), not once have I actually had him as a target in the base game and now finally he's paid DLC.

Oh well, I'll end up getting it anyways lol

Hitler the DLC!

It's worth it. It's a small map, but there are like ten different ways to kill him that are achievements or challenges or both, some of which involve ... uncommon, if not unique ... playstyles.

While the Deathstorm DLC is amazing, the Hitler one was quite a disappointment.... until I realized it is amazing for several of the weapon upgrade requirements. Playing this DLC with the crazy restrictions from those weapon upgrades makes it much more interesting.

I think it was originally a preorder bonus, at least on consoles. I bought it for Xbox a few months after it came out but still got a code for the Hitler DLC included.
The DLC is called: "Target Führer" and there is also a hidden trophy there: the "Eternal Struggle," a nickel-plated M1911 pistol (have it). I consider it one on-par with the rest of the DLCs (and the base campaign), a very different experience with very unique (to SE4) situations. I've played it through a few times now. You can kill Hitler by causing a huge and heavy Nazi icon to fall on him during an honor ceremony (how ironic!), it is extremely hard to do though, and even harder to do and remain alive (on higher difficulties) to finish all the primary & secondary objectives.

There is also the Hot Pot Achievement in Sniper Elite 4: Kill Hitler with the casserole!

HolloweenWeed, I need some help with the "Target Fuhrer'. I have downloaded the DLC and have actually played it twice. Now however I can't find a way to launch it.
How or what is the process for launching that DLC? There is DLC listed under SEVICE RECORD when you first launch the game itself but when I click on DLC all I get is a bunch of crap advertizing it and a note that says it is in my library and that all I need to do is launch it.
Just can't figure out how it did that. I appreciate any help. Thank you.

Good morning, sir,
i am still a bit sleepy (and english is not my native language), but if i understood correctly you are looking for a way to start the DLC?

- Start SE4 as usual,
- choose "single game"
- select "Select mission".
- in the lower area (under the "normal" missions) there is a button "DLC", here you will find all installed DLC for SE4.

The prerequisite is of course that you have installed the appropriate missions correctly. If you have bought the DLC via Steam, the installation will usually be done automatically and without any problems. If you purchased the DLC from another vendor, follow their installation instructions.

If the DLC does not start despite correct installation of the DLC, this may be due to a missing integration in Steam. Either integrate the DLC into Steam as a "foreign game" (please refer to the FAQ of Steam), or simply start SE4 without Steam directly from the installation folder of SE4.

I hope I could help you. In any case I need a coffee now, because it's only 4:00am in the morning at my house ;-)
