keyboard commands not working

the only keyboard commadns that work is movement and stance. That's it. Not even mouse buttons. I don't get it. No gamepad plugged in either.

I searched all the disccusions and didn't see anything so if its just me what the heck?

Edit: I went to the rifle range and all works. Just not on mission. wierd.

well going back into mission after shooting range worked. go figure lol

I get the same issue. I can't select a weapon or anything apart from movement. By contrast, Sniper Elite 3 works fine...WTF!

Never used a gamepad in my life & neither of any of my team ~ gamepads are for spotty teens.

solution: go through first scenario using keys game suggests as u use a particular key it then opens that key for keybinding later on, a bit like prologue scenario in se3. mine are now working as i want them

Play through the tutorial (first) mission and it will unlock the keyboard as you move thru. Just do what the tutorial asks you to do.

yes mouse accuracy is way better.
I have a CH throttle and program keyboard keys. It's at you thumb and finfer tips.

As I said above mine fworked by going to the shooting range first. Your solution may well work too obviously :)

Yep - I jumped straight into the first mission (I didn't run the tutorial) and it wouldn't let me draw any weapons until I climbed the first wall and took out the sentry with a knife.
After I did that, the weapons all worked fine.

Seems like an odd (and confusing) design choice but the game does as least work fine after that.

i would try to update the keyboard drivers and let steam do a file verification on the game...

Can confirm you need to complete this first 'tutorial' section before you can remap keys. This tutorial only happens the first time you play.
