No refresh rate option in this day and age??
Come Rebellion, let's have a choice as some have 120 and 144hz monitors.

Doesn't vsync sync it to your monitor's rate?
MAGNUM Feb 13, 2017 @ 5:52pm
No, the highest it goes is 60 at the moment. Checked the ini files but cant find a fix.

I just noticed the same, it locks your monitor to 60hz no matter what, causes a lot of screen tearing if you are far above 60.

Ok I have found a way to get it to run in 144hz. Go into nvidia control panel and set the monitor refresh rate to highest available. Sooooooooo much better at 144 :)
They really should have an option though.

Try right clicking on the game, going into set launch options and putting -Hz=144

Thank you, HaVeN! I can confirm this works. I was wondering why, even though I had v-sync turned off and was getting 150+ fps, that the game still looked bad. It turns out the game defaults to 60hz even if your monitor is set to 144hz in Nvidia Control Panel and/or Windows. It looks a million times better now running at 144hz =)
1.right-click on the game title under the Library in Steam and select Properties.
2.Under the General tab click the Set launch options... button.
3.Enter the launch options you wish to apply (be sure to separate each code with a space) and click OK. add the word: -Hz=144
4.Close the game's Properties window and launch the game.

Screen tearing doesn't occur if you turn on vsync, and with vsync off your monitor doesn't display any more FPS than it does with vsync on anyway (Google it if you don't believe).

Oops, was year-old post quote oh well.
alvaro this thread was a year old and most likely the ppl that posted have moved on now and are not watching. Good to have right instructions though. Awesome monitor you have too, I am envious. What is the pixels? And do you have video cards that will push that frame rate? My GTX 1080 just barely does over 60 FPS with settings maxxed, and that's at what most call 1080p (actually 1920x1200).

Asus ROG rocks! I have an Asus Rampage IV Extreme motherboard (extremely high-end for overclocking & SLI/xfire, hexa-core, 12 thread) from 2011 and it is still smokin' fast even by today's standards!

But yeah, everybody keep in mind if you go for a 144Hz monitor you're going to need 2 of the latest & greatest cards in SLI or Xfire, in a enthusiast platform (i7 or top-end AMD) to drive that baby in modern 3D AAA games, and even more especially if you are doing 4K. Gamers that buy 4K are finding that they can't afford the systems to do even 60Hz with modern titles, and most games do not support the SLI/xfire configuration for it to work without artifacts/issues.
