@hunterkiller - i dont think its about waiting two more days, its about someone wanting a freebie
For me a demo was fine.
I don't need the full game, just 1 level, a demo a limited access whatever.
Something where I would be able to make content about it.
While it's true that usually developers or publishers or PR Team usually send keys of the full game for content creators (I was no exception in many cases), altough I still think that it's really not necessary to send full copies to create something, unless you are a full reviewer, a limited time access or a limited level access like a demo would be enough for most of the content creators.
If I really wanted to play the game right away for the sake of completing it it would be fair to buy it.
Altough I still think that when content is created on youtube or twitch, not only we are helping ourselfs raising our channels, but we are as well promoting a game.
EDIT: About the money, it's not that simple, adblock continues to strike a lot on the earnings and CPM had take a big hit since 2017 had started, so we now require more viewers (with no adblock software) to match what we earned before.
Obviously, big channels have no trouble with it since they make thousands easily, but yes, If I had made enough, I obviously could afford the game and possibly even make more out of it, or maybe not, depends on how famous are the games, usually the ubisoft titles, and Battlefields and Call of Duty are usually what get the typical monstrous views, still I it's insane how many other good games don't even have 1/10 of the attention from the users :/
But yes, you got me, my channel have a low ammount of subs and attention, It is rising, but I still need to make more money or invest on itfor more tools to make it where I want it and how I want it.
That's why I had asked for a demo, since it's quite obvious that they aren't going to provide keys for content creators, which is quite surprising, when 95% of the games does it, or have the decency at least of replying to a simple mail with a simple question, even to say "no we aren't proving keys". But that's mostly UIDigital fault (the PR Team behind the game) that aren't doing their work.
Cheers
@MROOD a beg for a demo, that's it.
I guess didn't hurt to try to get some info if it's coming or not.
Altough it's exactly how it works in every release and any game, they provide the copies first to the big fishes and slowly provide to the smaller, which is obvious and the correct way to do it to serve the interests of the developers, like you said, it's their job.
Maybe I got spoiled of getting a reply from PR Teams, All PR Teams had replied until now, a lot with a "NO", but that's something already, others with info where should I try out, other with an access to the game as long as you submit the content and show to their team for them to evaluate what you created.
Altough, dispite I overreacted on the first post, the question still remains, It's still unkown if a demo is coming out, sniper elite 2 had a demo, 3 unfortunally not.
Cheers
As far as i can tell there will be no public demo whatsoever.
Usually when the keys are limited, they offer to the famous ones, thanks for letting me know.
I know several people that don't know or never tried Sniper Elite, A demo is a nice way to get in touch with it.
In fact, it was the demo of the Sniper Elite 2 that introduced me to the series, and made me buy the second and third title :)
Only real difference is I think they tend to use console (PS4) for the stream which does make sense over having to setup multiple PC's just for an hour each week for a multiplayer thing.
It'd only make sense for multiplayer i guess. TBH i've never watched fully any of the streams because the way they play and aim on console is beyond cringy.
Second, I'm pretty sure there are several videos online from the pre-access that have been done a while now on PS4, in fact, go to the youtube and search for sniper elite IV, there are already full pages of content of the game, hardly I would be a hit.
Altough if you think that I don't want to buy any game, feel free to check my steam account, you will find there hundreds of them, and in between the big list, you will find the Sniper Elite 2 and 3 with several hours spent on them and a lot of archievements done, in fact I have more games than you, and it's actually funny that you are a content creator as well, since you have a twitch account, So I don't really understand what's all of that rage about, but that's fine..
