How the hell do i freaking attack

Ok so my sword skill thing hit 0 and now i cant attack. How the hell do i attack now

They've gone and patched the game breaking it and then ran

I'm suprised that Valve hasn't undergone any legal trouble with all of the broken software they're keeping active

Sounds like you've used all of your special ability. You should be able to use the standard attack by left clicking, or if using an Xbox or similiar controller by pressing the X button.
