[FIXED] Watcher is invisible, using a pipe bricks the game
I've reinstalled and gotten rid of all my mods, I've turned off Steam cloud and deleted (backed up) my saves, and used my friends save file (Watcher works on his end) to no avail.

For more specifics: when gameplay starts my character is invisible, however I can still move around making sound effects and pick up objects. In this initial room when I use the only pipe on the right the screen transitions to the new room and the game bricks. I can't move or even pause the game, quitting requires Alt+F4.

Edit: Tried playing Monk and it seems like this bug happens on every character! Even when uninstalling the DLC, the issue persists.

Have you tried doing a full reinstall by removing Rain World from the Steam folder then verifying the game?

The Rain World folder is typically located at C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Rain World. Just delete, rename, or move that folder then use Steam to verify the files through Steam.

I did do this prior, but either way it seems to be working now after a few more re-installs + computer restarts and such. I saw it download a 5 meg update the last time I launched it (and now it works) so I guess its been patched?

yeah im having the same problem.. sucks.

I figured out the problem! It's an issue having the more slugcats expansion mod enabled at the same time as the watcher mod. Just disable the slugcats expansion.
i am also having this issue, no mods installed
Same problem! I'm raging! All my savegames are trash now. And even the vanilla version of the game is broken. Can't find the folder on my steam deck, so I can't delete it. I'm a gamer not a dev or admin.

Update: Find some folders, steam deck refused deleting, recommend a reboot instead and now is unwilling to start. Great job... feels more like malware then a dlc.

Perhaps this will work since it did with mine, the issue occurs when both more slugcats expansion is enabled alongside with The watcher dlc. Just disable either so that this is fixed
