in order of how well known they seem to be:
upper-left corner of Undergrowth
upper-right corner of Submerged Superstructure, at Transmission Array
left edge of roof of Moon's subregion in Frigid Coast
and while not unique, the Echo on the Exterior (Pebble's) roof relocated to Silent Construct

They only seem to do that when a creature is within reach.

They have a limited amount of times they can snap their jaws per cycle, after which they retreat to their dens.

There are exactly 5 items that cannot be crafted, but crafted with.
Almost everything can be crafted from these 5.
Add a karma flower and you can craft absolutely everything.

swallowing a Lanternfruit or Neuron Fly will still cause the slugcat to softly glow in dark areas, though not as brightly as if they just held the item.

If you swallow a pearl (or any item) in jolly co-op and then swap to Spearmaster, you will still be carrying that pearl inside of yourself, the game remembers.

Atop The Tallest Tower has unique dialogue if you manage to get to him in Expedition mode as Survivor or Monk.
