CAN'T GET MORE GRAPPLE WORMS!!! THEY WON"T RESPAWN!!!

I'm so ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ annoyed at this. I've been sleeping in shelters and then going back to the same spot in the Chimney Canopy-the only place they seem to spawn. THEY WON'T RESPAWN!!! I'm trying to play the game vanilla before getting Downpour, but if my only way of solving this is downloading a mod, please give me one. But if you know why I can't find these ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥, please tell me. And if this is a bug, then people need to badger the developers into patching it. I've heard people getting to Five Pebbles with spears or bringing squidcadas from afar. While I could definitely try these despite how much harder it would be, that shouldn't be my only option for the rest of my save. It destroys to point of a game where you're free to play your own way when an easier option is taken away for no good reason.

Did you try checking the Underhang for grapple worms? There's tons down there usually. If not, you should try doing it with spears, there's only a few places where you actually NEED to stick spears into the walls. Honestly I prefer to use spears because I only just recently figured out how to use the worms and they're still a bit finicky for me

It is absolutely littered with worms. I don't know why you ever thought to look for them in chimney canopy. Never knew that region had any. (looks like just one room with only two of them? no surprise any respawns may always get snatched by a predator before you arrive)

The reverse approach through chimney canopy and then just the wall of the exterior doesn't require grapple worms at all. They are really only necessary for the underhang part, which you would be skipping coming from that direction.

They added a ton of extra grapple worm spawns to underhand and even added one to wall to go through backwards. You will not lack for grapple worms. Just don't eat all of them.
