God this game is boring

It's literally a mobile rpg but they want us to pay for it? Why would anyone do that?

Constant tutorials for ♥♥♥♥ that could have been a single tutorial, or a book, or any form of slideshow. Constant fmvs/cutscenes for literally nothing, like characters interacting or the most basic movement between screens. I played for a full hour and only managed to get to the end of the ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ tutorial.

I want a video game, not a movie. This is why jrpgs died off.

How did you manage to get the idea that I didn't understand the game. There were too MANY tutorials, not too few. The game is watered down and boring.

They're blatantly not thriving when a jrpg has goty, what, once? And it's arguable if Persona 5 even deserved it. As with this game, it's the same ♥♥♥♥ in different wrappers, but the devs know moronic weebs like you lot will eat it up.

Traditional JRPG's have never been mainstream. The closest to that was ff7 back in the day when gaming had an overall smaller main audience. Overall JRPG's are doing fine.

first of all goty by an industry that hates it and japanese games (game journos) is not a good indicator of success or lack thereof. What is a good indicator is sales, popularity, fan devotion, and that jrpgs have had in spades for decades and very much so today as well. Not just so called weebs either.
