Some suggestions: It'd be nice if there was a "Next lvlup" or something in the top-left to indicate when you got your SMG upgrades. There doesn't seem to be an apparent downside to constantly shooting your SMG. E.g., Devil Daggers disabled your pickup magnetism whenever you were shooting. Since there is no such crystal resource, there could be some overheat mechanic or something. Something that is mostly inconsequential and just to nudge the player into not shooting for a bit. ...
