that "rebuilding the game from the ground" argument doesn't make sense. the PS4 & Xbone port were built from the PS3 & X360 port anyway, they didn't rebuild the whole thing from scrap so if they can add new features for PS4/Xbone why didn't they do the same for PC version?
Well, of it's wrong because of the number:
[your drive]:\Program Files\Steam\userdata\YOUR STEAM USER NUMBER\760\remote\311730\screenshots
The part until
- [your drive]:\Program Files\Steam\userdata\
is correct and the last part- \760\remote\311730\screenshots
is correct as well. It's the part between those two that is different.http://steamcommunity.com/id/Gao-Li/screenshots/?appid=311730
This is one of those photos:

Like I said, if you've taken photos, they will appear as screenshots. After you're done playing the pop up window with your screenshots will appear, your photos will be there as well. Your photos can be retrieved from the screenshot folder manually as well.
However, you need to have your steam overlay activated to be able to take photos.
Please do not change the game's .exe file. If you change the .exe file, Steam will of course have difficulties recognizing your game as installed and will naturally not be able to save your photo mode pictures. The .exe is necessary for Steam to recognize your game.
If you want to use the photo mode feature, then please do not meddle with the game's core.
