not sure why do we need this function on PC anyway. why don't they cut this useless feature instead of the other important features that people actually want?

It would have take more work to cut it than just leave it in, I presume. Understand that they didn't rebuild the game from the ground up for Steam; it's an arcade port. Note that most of these "cut" features you're thinking about weren't present in the arcade version.

that "rebuilding the game from the ground" argument doesn't make sense. the PS4 & Xbone port were built from the PS3 & X360 port anyway, they didn't rebuild the whole thing from scrap so if they can add new features for PS4/Xbone why didn't they do the same for PC version?

I've yet to find the default screenshot save location as well. The path directory that Kilvoctu isn't present on my system. Anyone know the file extension for the files? Maybe I can find them that way by using a time filter on a search.

Well, of it's wrong because of the number:

[your drive]:\Program Files\Steam\userdata\YOUR STEAM USER NUMBER\760\remote\311730\screenshots

After you've taken screenshots and are back in your Steam library, go to Dead or Alive 5 Last Round, and in that window, scroll down. At the bottom, you'll see your screenshots. Click on that and you can choose which ones you want to erase or upload unto Steam.

Nope. No files have been modified anywhere in the steam user number folders since last month. Photos taken using the in game photo mode don't seem to be present ANYWHERE in the userdata number folders.

He gave the wrong address. He gave the address to his screenshots. Your screenshots will be at a different location because you have a different steam user number.

The part until
  • [your drive]:\Program Files\Steam\userdata\
is correct and the last part
  • \760\remote\311730\screenshots
is correct as well. It's the part between those two that is different.

No screen shots taken using the in game photo mode are anywhere in ANY userdata folder, only screen shots taken using the crappy "F12" method.

They were all saved as screenshots together with the regular screenshots in the same folder:

http://steamcommunity.com/id/Gao-Li/screenshots/?appid=311730

This is one of those photos:

http://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=441356797

Like I said, if you've taken photos, they will appear as screenshots. After you're done playing the pop up window with your screenshots will appear, your photos will be there as well. Your photos can be retrieved from the screenshot folder manually as well.

However, you need to have your steam overlay activated to be able to take photos.

Just a short notice:

Please do not change the game's .exe file. If you change the .exe file, Steam will of course have difficulties recognizing your game as installed and will naturally not be able to save your photo mode pictures. The .exe is necessary for Steam to recognize your game.

If you want to use the photo mode feature, then please do not meddle with the game's core.

open your steam application.... go to veiw>screenshots. select DOA5, and select a picture, click "show on disk"......
