2560x1440 support (Fixed)
Out of the box, the game does not support this resolution.

It is unacceptable, because, from 1920x1080, the next step is 3840x2160.

I tried to set it manually on the DOA5LR.ini, and it did not work.

I tried to hex edit the binary of the game, and it did not start (err code 51).

Please, add support for this resolution ASAP.

I do not want to have to write a custom Direct3D wrapper again for another game because the game developers do not listen to the users.

I also would really like to see a way to use 2560x1440 resolution as well.

I have 2560x1600, but do not expect the game to support 16:10, so 2560x1440 is the least that I expect.

EDIT: IT'S WORKING! THANKS DIZPEL FOR THE FIX!

It seems the two of us are in the same boat.

I have a 1360x768 tv-monitor and I'd like my resolution supported too.

I would like to see some ultrawide 2560 by 1080 support

I don't use that resolution, but there's no excuse not to allow it. I'm also surprised at the lack of 1280x1024, considering there is 1024x768.

it just finished downloading and 768p is selectable from the settings

plus 1280x1024 is supported too, 720p fits perfectly into this.

I found a solution for the 2560x1440 users.

You need a nVidia card with DSR support.

In the nVidia Control Panel, go to 3D Configuration, then select the 3D Settings, and in the Global Configuration tab, look for DSR - Factors, and set it to 2.25x (native resolution).

Then, in the game select 3840x2160 as your resolution.

It works flawlessly, and the image quality is even superior to SSAAx4, because you are rendering at (3840x4)x(2160x4), and then the driver is shrinking it back to 2560x1440.

My Titans still can run the game at >60fps with max settings.

Hope this helps.

That works for Nvidia, but my R9 290X can only go up to 3200x1800 with VSR, but ofc that won't work with DoA5LR. So far I am stuck with 1080p, 4xSSAA, 4K Shadows and GemFX.

Did anybody get GeDoSaTo to work?

My native resolution is 4k so even with the Nvidia card that's not a fix for everyone.
DoGy AUT 30 marca 2015 o 15:24
Ok I could get GeDoSaTo to work, but it works only in Windowed mode, Fullscreen result is -> resolution not supported.

PS: It works!!! For AMD use GeDoSaTo and set false fullscreen and force fullscreen!

I can play in 3820x2160 downsampled to 2560x1440, wow looks great :D
