incorrect??

so about the wipe thingy for this week.. it say thursday 8th of januari but 8th of januari is on a wednesday. is it not?

It is... it does say Wednesday on the Steam news, but incorrectly (I think) Thursday on Discord.

I notice that there was no details on the wipe, I,E do we keep our rank or will we all be reset to rank 1, on the server merge, i think if they do that option the game will be dead, nobody is going to do the massive grind to get back into there ships that they have DLC Ships, also clans will be destroyed as nobody will have any decent ships to fight with for months, i think this may be the new owners intention. so they can concentrate on the new protect they have also taken over,and close Naval Action down for good.

I think rank (xp) stays everything else goes, but that is not yet. This thing about 24hr shutdown is transfering the game on steam, not the wipe yet (as I read it anyway).

the way I understand it, the 8th is just a long maintainance like break over the course of 24 hours, instead of 30 min, because they migrate the game within the steam server structure. The wipe will be later this month, from what I've read between the 20th and the 24th?! The dev will let us know. I have trust in this entire "naval action reborn" thing, specially since he bought the game from the studio. Let's hope for the best and wait for news.

You will have it for a bit longer yet, this time is just a 24hr maintenance for change over of NA, not the wipe yet...

Yeah, so I see...a temporary reprieve at best, given the 15 Jan date - but I'm pleased to have made the rank, since we're told rank is the only thing that will survive the wipe(??), with no indication I've seen that XP points in-between ranks survive as well.* And if the wipe does indeed happen as soon as advertised, I'll not be grinding out the 10K XPs to make Vice-Admiral before the wipe unless they procrastinate with it until summer, LOL.

*How about crafting XP/levels?

go to the official naval action discord server. most recent info there and on the steam news page. the only thing not wiped will be your xp. Name, clans and everything else will be wiped.
