In-Game Tutorial

I bought and played this game back in June 2021 and back then I did not see any kind of tutorial and I was not able to play the game as a result so I am just wondering if it now has an in-game tutorial because I would like to get into this game.

ahoy , good news is there is a tutorial now ..plus further infos for new captains in a section called "what to do"
unfortunately one of the Tutorial missions has a bug. the demast tutorial is a bit too hard ..but even if u dont pass it right away you can do the others .....

in port, click on menu top left, then click on TIPS, some basic stuff there.

Ok I guess I should have been a little more clear. I only played for approximately 7 minutes and if I remember correctly when I started up the game it put me into a battle right away. No tutorial came up telling me how to control the ship I was on or how to aim and fire the cannons. I know the basics for movement (WASD) which seemed to work for moving the ship and I did figure out how to aim but when I pressed the LM button to fire nothing happened and I could not figure out how to fire the cannons and there was no tutorial to tell me how. It frustrated me to the point to rage quit and vow to never play the game again. I recently seen it on my library list and reconsidered playing it again but only if there is a tutorial so I can learn the controls so if there is a tutorial then I will try it again.
Thank you for these videos and guides though. They will help me to understand more. I played Atlas before and wanted to try a new ship sailing type of game and everything I seen of this game was very interesting to me so I would like to give it another try.
