Yes core gamechanics are nice, grinding it is fine. They promote game a king, but do nothing for gameplay itself.
Game needs more people, this means all player need to be in one server.
It is first f2p game with that quaility that goes empty.
Game needs better UI, party system, more pve content, REALS reward after battle, becouse it is game and it is not fun to destroy ship and get nothing.
Game it is nice and thats why we are still here, but most of the changes devs to drives people away instead of pulling more new players, but game could easy reach 2-3k players in few weeks.
1. Done that 3x's and no BSM's awarded...!
2. Done that mutiple times and still no NSM...
3. Can't grind out ships without being to get basic mats from all my buildings now...!
4. War Server is "DEAD" port battles are few and between now...!
So arbitrarily having to wait a month just to open one resource mine, eh, there's gotta be a better way. I want to be able to build my own hull repairs. Oak log is at least plentiful enough that I can probably get by with having to find a port with some for sale. I would happily buy a few NSM for 500,000 R but alas, they cannot be traded. But at this point it makes more sense to grind AI fleets for hull repairs than to try to build them myself.
Even though I've sunk [an embarrassing amount] of hours into this game since the reset, I apparently cannot compete with other players enough in grinding for NSM to make it above anything but 'honorable mention' on the leaderboards. There are times when I think, "I really need to get a life." Then I look at my name ranked #436 on the leaderboard and it really puts things in perspective.
Or I can wait in line for the dozen contracts on coal at one of the "available" ports, and then hopefully make it back to the port where my workshop is. Or I could sit outside a coal port during the darkest hours of the night when server pop is low and everyone does their resource runs, and wait for someone to come collect, and try to sink them and take their coal.
LOLOL...!
Only people who have a lot of time to spend in the game can hope to grind these.
Grinding these is more a metter of time in game than a matter of skill in game.
:(
Each 1v1 takes 30 min average so.... 15 days x 30 min = 7.5 hours. The patrol zone would take about equal time depending on luck, so 14-15 hours every two weeks.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Most casual players who enjoy a game can play said game 7 hours a week?
If you can't then focus on doing just 1 thing (combat quests or player patrol zone)and earn 3 medals every 2 weeks.
Half way thru a season you will have enough medals to build most of everything you need to craft reps and ships without needing to spend time searching in random ports for needed supplies.
Eventually it snowballs into making 9 medals every two weeks with a ship yard and enough income (tobaco farms etc).
To get all basic ressources to make ships you need 5*3 and and 3*5. So if you make only 3 NSM each 2 weeks, well you need 10 mini seasons. there is 6 in a season. Next you need to upgrade your ship yard. that is 80 points at max. so 80/3= 26 mini seasons.
Regardles,, building ships takes alot of money, you will need to save up for some time before you can start building ships..
unless you belong to a major clan....
I suggest you join england if you want an easier time of it all.
The game has never been harder for new playes, then it is now. Compared to vets they are really screwed.
If I do 30 stars for quest mission I get 4 NSM, if do it on two accounts I get 6. So my opinion about alts make it easier to earn NSM is valid. The next is the pz. Same issue. Devs reward ppl for making more accounts.
When it comes to crafting, vets with alts all have both the Trinc and the Pandora. So sell them to the game and you get around 40 k just for logging and click click. That is delc they even haven't paid for. I personally get around 1.5 kk for selling dlc ships. take me around 5 min. So how easy do you think I can craft and get 3 nsm. Game have never been more focus on getting ppl to maker accounts and buy dlc to get NSM.
No doubt this game really turned P2W to get NSM.
I regard to have an easy life. how the is now, it really don't matter what nation you are in.
