Yeah, I am also against super-fast progression, actually. I never grinded. I just let it happen to advance in rank as it went. But you know how players are. They want insta-success, insta-career, insta-big-ships, insta-wealth etc etc.
Patience is something very rare in player communities. And they quit easily when they don't get what they want, soon.
I am the exact opposite. I have never grinded in my life. I ENJOY the slow progression.
But it's a start. And the thing is we don't know if this is the beginning of the start of more changes to come. And if these changes and/or results are positive enough, will they or have they planned to make more changes.
Already the mere posting of changes (in the right direction) have increased the playerbase by 10% (as of today), very encouraging.
So what are we fighting for now then? Trade routes dont exist anymore and trade is sjit, no fighting over or working together to upgrade the crafting ports, map domination just creates boredom for everyone including the zergs,
Ahh wait i know.,..let's intoduce more PvE events on the PvP server... That will do the trick.. And nerf chaining so you can't catch anyone who is speed build combined with bravery.....and while we are at it let's introduce gunstupidness so everyone will kite, oh no sjit the navy's do dmg on all distance's so the rich bois will still have the zerg power....Because we all know bullying is fun and drives content/players away from a game, but hey who cares...bullying is fun...as long as you can still bully a few players it's all worth it to boost ego....
Still i wonder wy WoWs is so popular,,,,,,maybe because ships are all equal? and you fight with a combination fleet and all ships have theire purpose? Maybe it does not demotivate when you loose a ship or battle because you don't have to grind stupidly long for a good ship? Maybe because like this WoWs is more balanced?
So let's face it lots of players don't like unbalanced sjit so they leave or just do stealth trading.... And the dev team still doesn't understand they need to make ships easyer available and more balanced/closer together in performance. Make fkn DLC ships and earn money selling those DLC ships...WOWS again as example...
I just looked at your profile.
When I got done laughing, I had to post here. 1,697 hours of game play with this game, and you gave it a negative review.
What's the matter? Didn't get your money's worth? Jesus..what a d!ck.
You can totally like the game because there are many factors that make you like a game. Such as the other players in your clan, the gameplay etc.... That does not say you can't be negative also.
So i also revieuw this game negative. Yet still i play because i like certain aspects.
Look at it as YOUR OLD CAR that breaks down all the time with lots of broken parts like non working airco, ♥♥♥♥♥♥ seating etc....still you can drive it and like driving it. Maybe because you dont have the money to buy a similar car with all parts working. Same with this game,,,i mean if you like sailing bricks with sails what alternative is there exept this rusty game with broken parts?
The main problem is to keep toxic people from doing things which ruins the fun for others.
So a PvP open world game needs to address that problem, it is a cat and mouse play, as we have seen people always seek new exploits to continue creating trouble at the cost of others.
The idea itself is great. It just needs a bulletproof concept for keeping people in reasonable boundaries. Because anyone in power will abuse it, the ones who have the human grandeur to abstain from abuse are a minority.
1700 hours. Nothing is broken. Seventeen-hundred-f*cking-hours.
Also, it is a game it is a competition between people so someone wins someone loses. Not a biggy after all just pixels right? fight in for YOU affordable ships.
But yeah toxic behaviour should be channeled out main tool imho is balance and teamwork with your nation to keep it all in check.
