Loki the Troll Game

Please take lokis out of the game they are nothing but a troll's game. If I wanted a PVP fight I would go have a PVP fight .

Spoken like a true PVP hog. The instant battle rights of worthless players over the rights of others to rank up. You get ♥♥♥♥ from fighting a LOKI. That is right ♥♥♥♥. That is why I disengage and leave everytime you have a LOKI in a battle so they get nothing too.

The other day a LOKI Troll came in and surrendered. Nobody could board his ship and it would not take damage to sink it. That means whatever loot was on that AI ship had it sunk was lost.

LOKI as product of bored PVP players who do not want to take the time to sail and scout then enter the battle but now get incentive with a more loot in a chest than the players that have to bear the damage LOKIs do to their gameplay. It is a Troll's dream

biggest problem with loki is that they run away in a fight, They should be limited to attack or surrender. not escape

I actually like it when a loki hops in my battles. It suddenly makes the battle much more interesting then just fighting the ai and I think they have their place on the PvP server.
And it also counts as a PvP kill if you sink it and helps you to get the fine rewards and chests from admiralty for sinking enemy player ships. Just remember to have the PvP hunt missions active.

There are ways to help you against a loki in battle.
Just shoot some chains at the beginning. If loki jumps into the ship after 5 or 10 minutes he will have to sail with damaged sails for the rest of the battle.
If you feel like it you can also make yourself a bit safer if you sail away a bit for the first 15 minutes. After last update loki can only jump into battle for the first 15 minutes.

Press 'Tab' every now and then to check if loki jumped in one of the enemy ships. Usually the rank of an ai ship says: "Captain" or "Commodore" or something but if there is a loki inside it shows the rank of the player. If you fight multiple ships focus the loki first as soon as you notice - loki can't repair after all.

What I don't like is if loki just sails away to avoid battle so you can't get any loot. That's just a silly move. Maybe the new loki reward will prevent that a bit.

One hates it, the other likes it. Opinions are like sand grains. Everyone has one and want to be right. That's why there is no beach at the end. To be fair, Lokis work on both sides.

So no Loki will ever stay engaged with me. I will leave every Loki battle it is worthless content for lazy players at my expense so leaving makes it worthless POS for him as it was for me.

Yes, as I said, everyone deals with it differently. In the worst case you can still sell them and consider them as goods. The prices for runes have increased since the loki chest was introduced as a reward. You just have to live with it or have to wait, because the updates are always good for a surprise :)

Ya I sold some Loki's for next to nothing hoping the collapse the market but this really encourages this outrageous mechanic against new players. So I no longer will sell them either. The 15 or so that i have will now be destroyed to reduce the harm to new players.

I only need 134 more Loki Runes and I will have 1000 Loki Runes.
But I use 20 or more in a couple of hours playing.

I think there should be a Loki Rune DLC where you have UNLIMITED Loki Runes.

My opinion, You should have to confirm if someone is allowed to enter your battle using a Loki rune. Like confirming a trade deal in port, If they accept, then both can have fun. If they don't, that means you're not welcome. That would be fair for both parties. If you disagree, please say why.
